Tile! It's sizzling hot! And just not out of the kiln. It is in demand because of its versatility, durability and cost-effectiveness. It has been used for centuries because when it is properly installed and maintained, tile will last for many lifetimes.

Each Puzzle Tile is handmade from white stoneware clay. The tiles are slowly dried and bisque fired. Then the tiles are hand-painted with glazes that are food-safe and glaze fired. The tiles are then ready for installation.

Puzzle Tiles can tell your story. For example, my husband, Steve, and I enjoy making big pots of soup together. So, we are incorporating in our kitchen backsplash a big pot of soup surrounded by fresh vegetables on a cutting board. The coffee table features our three cats playing in a field of sunflowers.

Your Puzzle Tiles can be a reflection of your hobbies, your interests or your artistic preferences. I can accomodate whatever your style may be: i.e., contemporary, traditional, country or southwestern. I look forward to working closely with you to exceed your expectations.   

Meet the Artist
Nancy Nowosielski

I began my artistic studies as a painter. I have painted on canvas, walls, ceilings, clothes, faces and . . . anything that doesn't move for a few minutes could be my next "canvas." Now, what I learned as a painter, namely my use of color and my drawing and brush skills, I bring to my Puzzle Tiles. Because I have always loved architecture, I enjoy the challenge of designing Puzzle Tiles that can work with and enhance the acrchitectural features of a given area. It's my way of combining beauty with function. I see myself as designing pieces that incorporate function in their space and function for the people who use that space.
